If you would like Anglefix to suggest what lengths of hinge is required,
we would require the following information.

Type of Wooden Door or Gate, Usage, Thickness, Height and Width

Light Weight Wooden Doors or Gates
Infrequent use require hinges to be 33.3% of width of door

Medium Weight Wooden Doors or Gates,
Moderate use require hinges to be 50% of width of door

Heavy Weight Wooden Doors or Gates,
Frequent use require hinges to be 66% of width of door

Height of Door or Gates
Any wooden door or gate measuring over 2m high but under 3m high must always be fitted with three hinges. When installing doors over 3m high, guidance should be obtained from our Technical Department before fitting.

Technical Advice
Where any abnormally large wooden doors or particularly heavy wooden gates are required to be fitted with Hook & Band type hinges, our Technical Department will provide a free written specification upon request.
