Many insurance companies require locks to meet BS3621 these in the trade are referred normally as 5 lever security locks.
Timber front doors would normally have one BS3621 lock and a night latch (often referred to as a Yale) although many companies produce night latches that are all comparable to one another.
New uPVC doors generally have a 3 or 5 point locking system which must be covered by PAS3621. These come in many different styles, you must include a cylinder tested to BSEN1303 to meet these requirements.
Eurospec supply a full range of locks and cylinders to comply with BS3621 and PAS3621.
Would you like your locks to be keyed alike? Remember, no more than 4 external doors should be keyed alike to each other.

Lock Types
Sashlocks, deadlocks, night latches and rim locks, what is the difference?
A sashlock, has both a keyed deadbolt and a latch.
A deadlock, does not have a latch, but has a key opperated deadbolt.
A night latch is a surface fitted lock which has a cylinder on the outside of the door and a small handle on the inside.
A rim lock is a surface fitted lock for internal doors or sheds.
